Tones and Ringtones

Where oh where in iTunes is the tones store?

Is it only located on iOS devices because I cannot find a 'section' in the iTunes store where it could be.

I would much rather peruse and purchase tones and ringtones in the iTunes store than on an iOS device ... point me in the right direction please.

they removed it a few years ago,

if you already own the song then you can make free ringtones using this method http://mashable.com/2010/08/28/how-t...one-ringtones/

or if you want some ringtones you can get them from here http://www.zedge.net/ (other sites available) and then convert them to m4r using the above method.

I like using Amadeus Pro. It ain't free, but it's a good sound editor that can export ringtones directly to iTunes. Easy peasy!
