Color swap on a iphone 4s

My mom talked me into a white iphone 4s instead of a black one, so i figured it was just like my 3g iphone and to change the color all you had to do is change the digitizer.... and that was a mistake, should have done some research on that, turns out you have to replace the lcd screen with it, i called my local repair place and they said they would do it for 200$!!!!!! just for the screen replacement... now does anyone know where i can get a iphone 4s black lcd screen plus digitizer? maybe trade for a white one?

If you really want a black one why not just return yours for it? Seeing as the phone came out 3 days ago I'm sure you're still within the return policy.

but that will be a pain cause it took the guy half a day to set it all up to this white one, and by the way will a iphone 4g digitizer and lcd screen fit on a iphone 4s?

LOL! I know right?? If anything, just sell the white one and get a black one? The white yields more $$$ anyway.

White is the choice color for the 4s, I'd stick it through man, you'll be glad you did eventually.

i just got my iPhone 4S color swapped to red!! best decision ever..

i only paid 170 after tax!
i got it done at yafix.com, they had a location 40 mins away from me so i went to them.

how much off color is the home button? thats the only thing holding me back from a swap.

Do it yourself guys! It's easy if you take it slow and work diligently. The colors of the home buttons are usually pretty close.

Why would you buy a white iphone just to change the color to black? Then spend the money on converting it?
Buy what you want in the first place and stick to it.

Why not see if you can do a even swap with somebody on Craigslist or something. if you do meet them in a very public place. Apple Store is good if you don't know what your doing.
