Replacing the stock back plate

Has anyone replaced the stock glass back plate? If so, which back plate did you choose with regard to material...ie aluminum, stainless steel or other?

I know people who replaced it with a glass plate that is another colour/design. Metals disrupt the reception so are generally not recommended.

I just ordered a blue glass plate for my verizon iphone 4

when it is installed i will let you know

I read alot of reviews on ebay many of the sellers sell low quality glass backs

I guess there is alot of variation in terms of quality

I have put a red glass back on mine. Looks good but the flash cut-out dosnt quite line up so sometimes you get a red glare on photos with the flash ... But I don't take that many night time photos so I was happy with it.
