Trouble installing snow leopard with external monitor
Hi guys, I got myself into a bit of a pickle here, I have an iMac intel (late 2006) that I broke the display on a couple years ago. Recently I tried to resurrect using an external monitor until I could find a decent priced replacement display. I decided to upgrade the OS since I couldn't get any upgrades for my programs because I was still running Tiger, anyways I begin the install of Snow Leopard and my external monitor goes into second monitor mode with nothing displayed except the wallpaper and I can't eject the snow leopard cd or see whats going on, on my built in display. I also can't use my keyboard to access the display settings.
Please help! |

UPDATE: After forcing the install disc out at startup, the computer has a yellow tint to the display now.

second display and snow leopard upgrade.
Hello! I have basically the same exact issue as you accept that I haven't attempted the actual upgrade yet. I anticipated that I might end up in the same mess. Did you find a solution?
