Under Diagnostic & Usage Data I have a lot of "Latest Crash" & a whole bunch of "LowMemory" reports - is that normal?

Low memory is normal.

I don't know what it's telling you though. Is it saying there were crashes AND low memory or is it saying that there were crashes BECAUSE of low memory?

How is the list arranged?

Apple made a huge mistake affording people to see this stats. They're just asking for people to get hung up on them and create a bigger headache for themselves.

Hmmm... there are many diagnostic messages on my new iPhone 4S (including a handful of low memory errors). I am using iOS5. The majority of the diagnostics are listed as process awdd. There are threads on the Apple support communities about awdd (see here and here) and MR (see here). I presume awdd is some sort of routine diagnostic tool - perhaps reporting loss of [WiFi?] network signal (it lists channel and signal parameters and 'EAP' as the security parameter).

Anybody knowledgeable about what awdd is?

I don't think its a problem unless it pops up on the screen. It might just be saying that it closed apps held in memory because it needed to free it up.

I do think all of this is routine - my iPhone has worked really well since I bought it, so my interest in the logs is just out of curiosity. And I suppose that, as with all IT technology, the more ones knows, the less one has to rely on others.

I think the low memory logs are mostly created to provide information to Apple about which apps tend to be the most problematic in terms of hogging memory resources.

I love seeing my diagnostic data. I also allow my data to be sent to Apple automatically, it makes me feel like they are more aware of problems :D

Ok the way you get rid of them is you go to onto iTunes and you sync your phone! Also you can click reset warnings!
There is no way to delete them besides that!
Hope that all helps you guys!
