So if I use the Air Print Activator app I have to disable the Firewall. Is it okay to do that? I've always thought for security reasons you left the Firewall enabled.

Your thoughts.

if you have an airport express laying around (the little one, can't remember the name) you could connect your printer to that if you do not want to disable the firewall. They are 85 usd refurbished
