Seeking advice selling a G4 w/ all the fixins'

So I've got the following stuff with an interesting tale of how it came to be:

Tower PowerMac G4 M8493
Monitor cinema display M8149
3 piece Harmon Kardon system with isub
Pro keyboard M7803
Mac mouse

There was this nimrod who embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from my father-in-law's company. During his multi-year shopping spree he spared no expense buying extravagant items, including the above Mac. His philanthropic efforts extended to include new instruments and uniforms for Purdue University's marching band, but I digress. Anyway, he got convicted and a lot of the stolen merchandise was returned. I'm finally getting around to help sell the merchandise that we got back and this is one of the items. We're not Mac people (sorry class), so we don't know how to price it when we craigslist it. Would someone mind lending a hand here? I have a picture if anyone needs to see it.

BTW, the good news is that it's like new! We got it back before he had a whole lot of time to enjoy it!

Thanks,

Cords in Chicago

You appear to have a QuickSilver PowerMac G4 and a 22-inch ACD on your hands. To figure out a price of the PowerMac, you would need to know the processor speed, how much RAM it has, whether it has a SuperDrive, etc. A good place to start is to select "About this Mac" from the apple menu. It's either 800 MHz, 933MHz or dual 1GHz. That LCD you have there is pretty nice, although it's been replaced by a newer model now. Here's what I think you could get for them:

PowerMac:$650 (867 MHz) - more than $1000 (dual 1GHz)
Cinema Display: $700-$800
Soundsticks: $120 ?
Mouse: $15
Keyboard: $30

But you should probably include the mouse and keyboard with the PowerMac. I'm not sure you would get any more selling them separately.

Check out ebay and other listings to see how much this stuff goes for. If you want more advice here, you need to list the
1) Number of Processors/Speed
2) Size of Hard Drive
3) Amount of RAM
4) Size of screen
5) Any included software

I'd say roughly $750-1000 is possible, but it really depends on the specs above.
