Custom Alert Tones on an iPad?

So... I'm not missing anything, right?

As of right now - you cannot add custom alert tones to the iPad?

EDIT: I'm a moron... didn't have "Sync Ringtones" checked... carry on.

What do you mean by custom ?

I've synced some homemade ringtones and I can use those.

You can also buy them via the sounds preference.
