My finder is reporting I only have 4 gigs left on my 20 gig drive. Only problem is, i selected all the folders on my disk and did a get info command and i am only using 9 gigs. Weird. I just reinstalled mac os 10.2 about a month ago. I wonder if it failed to delete the old stuff. only problem is, i cant find the old stuff to delete it. i am missing 7 gigs. i am afraid i am going to have to reinstall my os again.

any ideas?

Most definately, you can not get info on folders you do not have privileges to. In other words, your get info on your hard disk is not tell you the size of most of your Library, System or any other Users folders.

What you should try is logging in as root and doing it again and see if that makes much difference.
