set computer to automatically download youtube video at 1080 p when available

Recently bought an entry level mac mini. at some point I setup youtube to automatically download at 1080 p when available. I can't remember where these settings were, but I want to change these settings. It is painful downloading 1080 P youtube video. I had an account on youtube, but I have sense canceled it. This may have been a setting I chose in youtube settings. Any help is greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance
