Is there a mac equivalent of orbit downloader?

You can download Youtube videos easily with something like Keepvid. It doesn't need downloading. Just copy and paste the link in the box and go.

Hey bro, i just created this account to tell you, i found iGetter downloader, is very similar and works like Orbit. It's not free, but i don't found limitations without a register.

iGetter is nothing like Orbit in being able to capture streamed videos. It is just a simple download manager.

That is the whole suite which you don't need. Jaksta was also in a recent bundle, so would have cost you pennies.

Jdownloader sadly doesn't support all streaming protocols. For example http://svn.jdownloader.org/issues/6036 adobe hds (http video streaming) which is used by most tv stations in Germany is not supported.
