Wow! I just woke up and, of course, reached for the iPad to check on the game. What did I find? Four gifts and two franchises! Thank you so much to Nyteowl, pamiam, and the others who made that happen! I apologize for forgetting The other names - I have short-term memory loss (thanks to the disease and drugs I have to take because of it).

Is there someone here named Enixtown? If so, would you give me a holler? Thanks!

Off to talk to Hubster via IM. Hehe... I have to check the game and the forum before I let him know I'm okay.

That was me, Enixtown has been my town name for every game since Animal Crossing on gamecube! Curious to know what you got out of that because it was very expensive.

No problem! Trying to help out others as much as I can, what with the 30ish stock exchanges I am getting half a million coins from one business every hour. Not as crazy as some i've seen on here, but still a lot!!

It's cheaper for you in the long run versus buying businesses from the store, and it gives the owner (whoever you buy from) a sweet bonus.

If anybody has visited my town you probably noticed i only have 4or5 buisnesses reasing being that i dont need coins but mainly that all the buisnesses popularity is horrible i am just gonna wait for the update!

Also for all the people gifting me i would like to please ask you for pop. even though it doesent give much its all that helps me and it really adds up!


Also i emailed booyah and asked if they could tell me some new things in the update. They have not answered yet but they probaly wont tell me just though i'd give it a chance!LOL

Been a my town gamer for about 3 mo now, just cruising in the game and building my town! Then I found this forum, and it took me to a new level. I built stock exchanges, and created offices - it s a big deal to me, because I made my first million in a day today. No bucks yet, no good businesses, but now with coin, and thanks to all you posters, I am ready to compete.


I have an ugly town, but now it s being built to make money. I am looking to spend coin and franchise, just need a little more pop for a business attempt. You guys are great! Creative I may add. Stay tuned for more!

For the buck heavy folk, I could also use a bit of franchising assistance and will repay in population. I am making a bunch of decorative changes to my town which are eating up bucks.

Major shout out to Candyland, who came to my GF's aid last night after she accidentally wasted bucks on a business upgrade. She was down to a measly 2 bucks and thanks to Andy's triple franchise rose up 152 bucks! Sir, you are a good man and have my gratitude.

I've got a question for you guys.... I was flipping thru my stats page looking at when my younger bizes were going to level up and I began to wonder this:

How come some times you get 5% for some one franchising and sometimes you get 10%... Sometimes 25%, 45% etc. what's the difference?

I mean, on my lower popularity biz (roughly 1k) awhile back, someone franchised me, I got a 25% bonus for it, someone else did too and I got another 45% for it. Now, on a muuuuch high popularity biz (roughly 15k) when someone franchised it, I get a 5% bonus. why the different bonuses?

Barracuda, does he wear glasses? I've got a dude with a tank top, sandals, fedora, and glasses, but that's as close as I come. I've got every housing option they offer; is/was there a building specifically called a brownstone? I put in a lot of townhomes, city apartments, high-rise apartments, flats, etc., just because I got tired of houses. Hopefully, we'll get some new choices soon.

My fave dude is the body builder/weightlifter who's doing a semi-squat in front of the gym while flexing a barbell LOL.

I think what Barracuda is referring to as a Brownstone is the Downtown Apartments.

It seems the more carefully I look, the more characters seem to appear.
One of my favorites is the maniacal little kid in front of the Mega Mall.
Another is the black lady with blinking blue eyes and blue eye shadow in front of the Premium Look Irish Pub.

I found a guy whose black hair is styled into a kind of Pompadour, wears big goggle-ish kind of glasses and a red tank top. Similar but not the same. The more I carefully look, the more characters there are. It's amazing.

Isn't it a hoot? This is exactly what I meant when I said I like to watch all the activity. I see something new every day. Today, for instance, I saw a girl eating a slice of pizza. I've had a pizzeria from early on, but I've never noticed her until now.

It might be the same guy. The building is called "Downtown Apartment" and is essentially a brownstone. Yes, the guy has glasses. When he turns around, look closely and zoom in...he is wearing suspenders, not a tank top (if we are talking about same guy).

Hahaha. Thanks. That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said. lol. I don't know if you're a multi billionaire in green bucks, like some others.... I do have some of the highest popularity businesses out there. You can always relocate to the city they're located in, and franchise from me in coins, if you have tons of those Most of these are very high income producers, once you level them up. My New York Times, makes 5K coins every 3 (or 1.5) minutes, with all of my stock exchanges My next plot of land is currently 1.1 M coins.

I'm just going to save up and then restore the businesses to their types, and make them less ugly

Hey, I just had another idea for the update, if it ever comes.... If someone local has a distant business, you should be able to franchise for them for a reduced price in bucks, or in coins, as if the business were local. That way, everyone in our real cities, will want to franchise from those of us who have gotten to high levels
