Hi

I have just about 112 GB marked "other" on my MBA hard drive that i simply don't know what could be? Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? Its really bugging me...

Here is a picture. (it's in Danish, but the "Other" part is the one called "Andet")

Thanks

Those are probably the local Time Machine backups.

Take a look at DiskInventory X (will not work in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion), OmniDiskSweeper, JDisk Report or GrandPerspective to see where your SSD space went to.

I am almost positive that the local Time Machine backups go under the "Backups" category. At least they did when I went through this same problem.

As for the OP, I am having a bit of the same problem. I did some work on my Air last night and I lost 4 GB of free space into the "Other" category. 4 GB does not seem like much until I realize I only have 64GB to begin with.
