iMessage slider always goes off by itself

Hello,

Does anyone else have this issue?

iMessage worked fine for ages, but now it turns itself off within seconds of me turning it on.

I am not doing anything. *It* turns *itself* off within seconds of me turning it on.

When I turn it on (again) I don;t get the extra options that you should get either.

Solved

I had Facetime set to "off" in settings/general/restrictions.
