I hid the menubar with the Nocturne app.
This is my first go at GeekTools, so its a little bland, but I like it as of now!

Using my Chrome window to hide other windows that I have open (if you wanted to see my desktop picture, you'd be in the Desktop Pictures thread ):

Thumb resize.

Only problem is that sometimes the white bar I have behind the calendar at the top moves in front of the calendar, and while it's still visible it doesn't look as nice. Haven't figured that one out yet...

That is pretty freaking slick. Like how it goes behind the car. Very nice and clean looking.

iPhone/iPad-inspired.

So far, only the weather, calendar, clock and unread mail counter work. I'm trying to figure out a way, if there is a way to make all of these icons executable.

Posted this in the desktop one, but then saw the specific GeekTool one...

Nothing too fancy.

Mine's pretty minimal right now but I like it. I'm trying not to go overboard on all the things you can do. But it's all so cool!

Pretty new to this, and was hoping to get some feedback.

I can't quite figure out if the text on the left side of the screen makes the desktop overly cluttered. I used to always have a note program open for it, but I think this looks better and gets in the way less. Thoughts?

Today was the first time I looked at Geektools and it is pretty cool. I'll be spending some time with it the next few days. Anyway just started with the basics. I plan on a simple and minimalistic desktop.

I learned from watching a tutorial here, which is really helpful even if you don't have Photoshop (i.e., I used GIMP and it still turned out okay): http://desktopspotting.com/25/awesom...-os-x-desktop/
