Is there a way to downgrade Facetime's camera from HD to a lower quality? I'm trying to Facetime but my internet connection is not good enough, so the picture works out but the audio is lost or lags. I think the video takes up all of the bandwidth so the audio lags, but Facetime can't recognize this so it keeps the video in HD. Is there a way to fix this?

The same happens with Skype. For the first two minutes, Skype works fine because it keeps the video in low-quality mode. But after two minutes, Skype thinks the bandwidth is enough to make the video HD. The video goes HD but this makes the audio lag again.
