imac sleep light..
so, i'm having a little trouble with my imac sleep light..
it simply doesn't work. it used to. now it doesnt. when the display goes off, it doesnt come on. when the machine is sleeping, it doesnt pulse. i know the led is working because when i take the machine out of sleep, it comes on for a split second.
has anyone else had this problem? is it a hardware or software issue? i'm getting a bit fed up with this machine (rev 1, imac g5) - it's the most noisy ****ing computer i've ever had (apparantly only a lucky few of us have ones that make a ****ing annoying high-pitch noise 24/7. grr, sorry, just had to vent. i know it's my fault for buying a rev 1 mac, but i really dont think i should have to deal with annoyances like this.
anyway, i'll phone up apple tomorrow or on monday and tell you guys what they say about the light.
once again, apologies for the bitching/cursing in this post. it's 12.40am, i'm tired and THIS GOD DAMNED HOT WEATHER is keeping me from sleeping
nigella lawson is hot. no, really, she is.
