Sorry I don't have any older Mac's according to your definition. I donated or traded in all my previous Mac's.

Don't have any photos of this machine, but I am the proud owner of a powerbook 165c (~1993 era laptop).
I believe the specs are as follows (have not used it in over a year and a half)- 33MHz cpu 16MB ram 500MB hard drive floppy drive and a tiny monitor plus its running system 6.(something) ...this thing is wicked fast , why did I ever bother to buy a powermac G5?

Here are some pics of my PowerBook Duo 280 and 2300c. I don't use the 280 anymore, but the 2300c is my school system.

It has nothing to do with the age of the system... just the number of video cards that you put in it. A Mac II had space for up to 6 video cards, so it could have 6 monitors. My Quadra 950 has 5 slots and built-in video (which I maxed out with 2 MB of VRAM), so it could have up to 6 monitors also (I've had four connected at one point). Besides, the Quadra 950 was running $9,000 new (and out fitted the way mine is now would have run about $32,000 in 1992). I would hope that it could at least deal with multiple monitors. ![]() Quote:

Wow, this is a cool thread!
It's too bad that I don't have any older Macs yet. I'm always tempted by them on ebay, but I don't have the space for one right now. I do plan on getting me a Powerbook G3 sometime soon. (probably a Pismo) |

Since this is a thread about older Macs, I figured I'd post my Lombard that I got the other day. Sure, it's a G3, but it's 6 years old. I love it.
