LED notifications iPhone 4

Will the LED notifications make the battery drain? Does the LED affect the battery greatly?

The LED DOES use power. How much depends on how much it is used.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

If I get a notification like once every 5 mins will the fone die faster?

I don't think you'd notice much difference between using the LED and not. The duty cycle is very low when the LED flashes (the LED is only on for a very short period of time). For all except an alarm, timer, or call, it only flashes a couple of times. So even if you did get a constant stream of notifications, I doubt the hit on battery life would be significant.
