So part of me loves the new stuff in Lion, but it does seem like one of the most unpolished releases of OS X ever (the pixelated Dock icon badges, for example).
My big issue is that when I am at home, I have a USB keyboard (one of the non wireless Microsoft Ergonomic Japanese keyboards) hooked up to my laptop. The keyboard blocks the screensaver from starting. When the screen saver kicks in the screen goes black but immediately kicks back to the desktop. This only happened at home so I unplugged the USB hub with my mouse and keyboard and added them back one by one. Sure enough I could get a screensaver with all my USB stuff except the keyboard plugged in.
I want to test if removing the MS drivers for the keyboard makes a difference or not, but the keyboard itself is next to useless without the software so I may just unplug it when I leave (and wait to upgrade keyboards). Anyone else experiencing this problem? I didn't have any issues with the same set up in Snow Leopard and I hope it's fixed in 10.7.3 but I can't find any information on anyone else having a similar problem.
EDIT: Too late for 10.7.3 but I went ahead and submitted a bug report to Apple. This is the last time I upgrade OSX before the .3 release.
EDIT 2: Thought to test out an older Apple USB keyboard and no such problem. Also, there is a difference between this install and on SL - I upgraded to the new 64bit MS drivers for the keyboard.
