I have heard from others that they are usually up by 9 a.m. on the east coast... but i dont know if that is always that case or if it is true

yeah, if it doesnt come soon i dont know what im going to do... im sure everything will work out though
 
Damn no updates today...I was sure steve would give us new iBooks to calm us down over the whole intel thing...Anyway guess it will be next tuesday...

i've owned several machines from both companies (work buys the dells)

This makes no sense. Either you want a Windows machine (ok, Dells can run Linux too) or a Mac. How can a lack of update cause you to switch platforms completely?
