OS X menus

i need to remove some of my menus but dont know how to do it. Any ideas? I am using 10.2

command-drag it off the menu bar. If it doesn't go away, go to the preferences of that app and deselect the menu bar option..

Thanx. Just one thing to add to what you said. When your dragging, make sure you hold down the apple key. If you dont it has no effect.

the apple key is the same thing as the command key... that's why I said command-drag
