What do you clean your MBA with ?

iClear still does it for me ... Screen, trackpad, keyboard, everything. Hard to entrust my MBA to a product I haven't used extensively.
 
A Lysol wipe for the keyboard, trackpad and enclosure, then wipe with a microfiber cloth. For the screen I use a photo lens cloth.
 
I spray the screen cleaning gel on a lint free cloth and clean the screen and then everything else with the same cloth.
 
Why would you need to clean a computer...? Maybe the screen, but a soft T-shirt can take care of that...my macbook air is still shiny new after several months of carrying to classes etc...without any superficial cleaning treatment. 🙄
 
I just use the Apple clothe I got from an older MacBook Pro purchase and a cleaner rated for aluminum, and then one rated for plastics for the display.


Most things that people sell as "macbook cleaners" is just eyeglass cleaner with a price mark up.
 
Microfiber cloth with the glasses lens cleaning spray from Wal-Mart.

I have an invisible shield on mine so I just use clorox wipes or water and paper towel on the exterior.

agreed...you can way overthink this -stay away from corrosive and abrasive things in your cleaning closet like softscrub and ammonia and you'll be fine.

make microfiber your friend...

In fact, you shouldn't try anything else on the Air, lest you risk damaging the screen.
 
100% cotton baby diaper, slightly damp, for the screen. The rest of the Air gets the same treatment, unless it gets gooed, then I use a baby wipe to clean it. I NEVER touch the screen with anything but a 100% cotton diaper. I'm thinking microfiber would be just as good.

I was using these electronic wipes, now I'm using a damp terry cloth for cleaning keys, pad, palm rest and casing. Works just as good, if not, better.
 
where the hell are you guys using these things? In a slaughterhouse? I mean, how dirty do they really get?

lol

I maybe wipe my screen with a MF every 60 days, and since I have keyboard cover(as I'm gonna sell it) it never gets dirty..
