I hope so! I want one.

But it does appear June 27th is the new "magic date" and probably the most relevant so far to the iBook. Fingers crossed.

This all makes pretty good sense. Great post. Do you think there will be price cuts all around or just to certain products?

I received my PM on 2nd May (even though I ordered it before then) and received the $100 rebate a week ago. I found out about the promotion after I bought it and it was a wonderful bonus. To clarify: the rebate's for any Mac bought as a student, not just the iBook.

I think your theory holds water. Hope you're right because I think that's the only way to beat the Osborne effect.
