I was trying to clear memory because my HD was full and I opened Mac HD and deleted it's contents. Now when I try to boot I get a black screen that says "Feb 8 20:25:00 launchd: can't exec /bin/sh for single user: no such file or directory". I got Mac OSX tiger replacement DVD but so far my attempts to boot from disk by holding down 'C' or pressing command-option-shift-delete have proved useless as it just spits the DVD out after three or four attempts at trying to read it. The computer was fine until I shut it off for the first time after deleting mac HD. I don't need any of the stuff on the computer so totally wiping everything in favor of a solution would be fine. Please help!
