I'm sort of confused on the issue of naming the upcoming Apple computers. Even though the PowerPC processor wont be used, will the computers be named "G5" or what not? Or will we be having powerbooks named like "Powerbook M5 (G5 + M technology) or even Powerbook M." If anyone care to share their opinions that would be great!

another thread with this question, another thread with this anwser ;-)

they won't...

why??

the G stands for Generation in terms of the used PowerPC processor, Intel will not make PPC but x86 for Mac so a new name will come... maybe just iBook, PowerBook, eMac, iMac, Mac mini, PowerMac... without the "G" just thinking...

Maybe they will Launch the i1 series ;-)
