How to transfer apps/docs from old PB to new PB?

Hi all, I am trading my Rev A 12" PB and some cash for a Rev D 12" PB. Is there a simple way to get all my stuff from one to the other? I have my entire harddrive on the current laptop backed up via Silverkeeper to an external firewire HD. Can I just restore it to the new laptop, or are all my application registrations going to get screwed up? Thanks for any advice, Amin.

If you're able to transfer before you make the exchange, just get a firewire cable, hook 'em up and away you go. I did that when I got my PB and it was very slick. However, since you're getting a used mac, I recommend the clean install.
