I'm working with multiple customers and programmers, and I need some sort of online bugtracking and feature request software for apps we build. What do you all use?

While I like basecamp, it's a bit overkill. I'm not looking for a full featured project management app. On the other hand, list apps tend to be too simple (i.e. can't assign a status like 'in progress', or assign ownership). Simple is better, people need to want to use it. Must be an online app, maybe with an iPhone app interface, and/or the ability to email a bug/feature to it.

Anything like that? I've tried Redmine, RTM, and customers just quickly revert to sending us emails, which is a bloody mess.

We use JIRA where I work and it seems to work pretty well although I'm sure we are not using it to its full potential.
