Should I Sell My Early 2011 13" MBP and Get A Mac Mini?

I have the early 2011 13" MBP base model. I bought it at Best Buy with the 3 year accidental plan. I'm considering to sell it because it only sits on my desk most of the time. I'm looking into getting the Mac Mini but I'm not sure which model I should get. I only use my MBP to surf the internet, read email, do do some work and use itunes.

I have the 2011 Mac Mini base model with owner upgraded 8 GB of Crucial ram. I use mine for basically the same things and I couldn't be happier. I am thinking about changing my 5400 rpm hdd for an SSD as I store my iTunes library on an external drive.

What would the mini do that you're MBP wouldn't?

Stop thinking about it and just enjoy your computer.

You're MBP is so much better. Why switch it out? Just plug it to a monitor and use it like a mac mini!

He's probably considering the mid 2011 mii model with dedicated video card; something that hasn't existed in the low end MBP/PowerBook since the late 12".
