Microsoft Flight Simulator X on 2011 or 2012 MacBook Air

Does Microsoft flight simulator x work on the 2011 MacBook Air? Will it work better on parallels or boot camp? PS when will the next MBA come out

I'm installing Windows 7 right now with Bootcamp and then I'll install FSX on my Macbook Air 2012 2.0GHz I7 8GB Ram

I'm also very curious about this because the only two things I do that might stress a MBA are video editing and FSX. I actually passed on the 2011 model because of the HD3000 but from my research the HD4000 should be able to run FSX at least as well as my current computer (2.4ghz core2duo, nvidia 9600m gt). But I am interested to see the framerates at medium and high quality because right now I only get about 25 on relatively low settings.

The new 2012 models came out about a month ago. Most likely they won't be updated again until next summer when the next generation of Intel chips come out.

Does someone knows how well will it run on a MBA 2012 13''/8/256/i5?
Would the difference between the i7 and the i5 be that much as rending FSX unplayable? Thanks

Considering the i7 is slower than the i5 in Windows (until Apple/Intel fixes it), you'll be fine.
