Whenever I try to update my iPhone 4S, it notifies me of an update then hangs at "Connecting to iPhone Software Update Server" even when I try to update directly on the iPhone, it times out after a few minutes while searching for the update. I have no problems with my internet and everything else works perfectly. I just cannot get the update for some reason. I have never been jailbroken either.
