So I have a broken iphone 4 screen, but it still connects fine to my computer. I went out and got a 4S today and now can't backup my 4 because it has a password, and I cannot enter that password to back it up. Is there anyway I can get around this? I had my contacts backed up via iCloud but I guess I didn't update them because a lot are missing.

Does it take any input at all (with or without the backlight)? If you so you can try to enter your password using the 4S as a location guide to where to tap the 4. If it's not a simple password then yikes.

It's not taking input, the screen goes from black to a lighter dim like the backlight came on with no input on the screen.
