Is it weird that my iPad 3 was built in 2011?

I'm not sure where there are 53 weeks in a year, but i find that weird.

Perhaps they mean christmas break, 2011-2012? Or it started production in 2011 and finished in January 2012?

Or maybe they just work the little foxconn guys 53 weeks per year? :D

not at all, it is weird that they call week 53 January when its december, and if its some cultural difference and week 53 is January, then it should be week 1 2012, how is it both January and 2011

Maybe it was made on the "spare day"? There are 365 days in a year, but 52 weeks x 7 days = 364 days, so that leaves a spare day that Apple maybe refer to as week 53?

my one is 53rd week as well..I've seen around 2-3 other people on this forum with our week's build? can't be bad could it? My one seems to be fine but maybe cause I'm not hardcore picky!
 
It's probably just the way the factory labels it. The "53rd" week in a year is the first week of the next, no? Says January anyway.
