No way to upload stuff via iPad?

Hey

I use deviant art and other related sites a lot, but i use my mac for it most, because there is no way to upload stuff from the iPad.

Does anyone wish apple would include this functionality into iOS. Anyone agree with me?

Sure, should be easy. Step one, build an exposed file system for iOS users....

In all seriousness, I think Apple would prefer DeviantArt to build an iOS app, which could easily include an "upload photo" feature.

This is my one remaining 'big issue' with iOS - no way to upload in Safari.
If I want to change my forum avatar, or upload a wallpaper, for example, I have to it via the laptop.

A deviant art app would be so cool.

I've never used it before, but I've heard numerous posters on here claim that the iCab browser can upload files.

iCab will let you upload from your camera roll on a lot of sites. (but not if they're flash-based)

Alternative Browsers, such as Icab and Atomic allow uploads. As do some of the PDF Reader/File managers apps (Goodreader; Readledoc). I agree that Safari should do this - it's really crazy that it doesn't. But there are several pretty easy work arounds.

It's possible, but by the time I fiddle around with stuff, it's just easier to grab my MBA or use the iMac....Apple still won't give us a decent file manager. A mild niggle I guess, I wasn't expecting it anyway. I often run my iPad alongside my Pro or my MBA anyway.
