How do I delete templates in Pages '09?
I am using Pages '09, I created a template and have decided to delete it because I need to totally redesign it.
Can someone tell me how to delete the darn thing? I searched the help menu, tells me how to save one, make changes etc, but nothing about deleting it. Thanks so much. Last edited by tawcat; Mar 21, 2012 at 06:38 PM. |

How do I delete a template under Pages?: Apple Support Communities
Also, you may have better success in attracting responses to your thread, and you'll make your thread easier to find for those browsing the forum for the same answers, if you change your thread title to something more descriptive. To do so, click the "Edit" button on your original post, then click "Go Advanced" and you will see where to edit the thread title. |

Here is the key if you are using Lion.
If you are running Lion, the user's library folder is hidden. From the Finder, open the menu "Go to" with the option key depressed to be able to trigger the Library folder. Worked like a charm! Last edited by tawcat; Mar 21, 2012 at 07:01 PM. |

On the Finder menu bar, click on Go, then press and hold Option key, click on Library.
Basically doing this shows the hidden files. From there I clicked on Application Support, iWork, Pages, Templates, My Templates. All your templates will show, highlight and move to trash. Last edited by tawcat; Mar 22, 2012 at 09:04 AM. |
