Free Newsstand Magazines for iPad & iPhone
A lot of newsstand magazines are free but require a subscription. However there are a few don't require you to pay to use them which is nice. These are either completely free or have free features with optional subscriptions.
I thought I'd create a thread to help people discover ones that don't require a subscription. If you see a magazine that's not on the list please post it and I will update the list.

Some magazines like Automobile and Motor Trend give you a free iPad subscription as long as you subscribe to their print edition.
I found a deal that let me renew both of these subscriptions for $4 per year. While not totally free, considering you get both print and iPad versions of the magazine, I think this is a great deal.

Thanks for the list OP. I thought only Distro was free, but now I'm gonna check out atomix and iGizmo.
I own a variety of products all with various technical specifications that I use periodically as my needs dictate.
