Hi,

I bought a Mac 128k from the US and I live in Europe.
Can I transplant the 220V power supply of a Mac SE into a 110V-Mac128k?
Alternatively, is there another cheap Mac whose power supply would be compatible with the Mac 128k?

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards

Alex

Power supplies between the Macintosh 128k, 512k (including 512Ke) and Plus are interchangeable. The Macintosh SE power supply is different and the Macintosh Classic power supply is different yet again.

Hi iMacC2D,
Thanks for your response. Do you know if this would be a complex thing to do, if I go to a specialized electronics repairman?

I damaged the power supply of my Mac 128k when I plugged it to 220V current.
The repairman managed to fix this, but I would like to get a real 220V. I am not quite sure if it could destroy the electronics inside.

Thanks again
