ATV 2 Home Sharing Help.

Ok, here is my situation. I am on in a college dorm, I have gotten the ATV to connect to the wireless. Itunes Match works. However I cannot get the ATV to recognize my laptop (Windows 7, 64-bit) for Home Sharing over the wireless. I do not have access to the router, or the router settings. But, when I connect an ethernet cord from my laptop to the ATV, home sharing works.

Is there a way to get ATV to see my laptop? I understand this could be a router issue, but is there anything else I can try or settings I can change?

EDIT: I am also jailbroken, there is a way that will help me. I basically want to use Homesharing to stream my playlist of music videos.
