unable to login with apple id

Hello all

i have bought the new apple tv 3 and just plyugged it in

i tried to set up my home sharingh between my imac and the apple tv

whenever i tried to insert username and password...it said unable to login withn your apple id cos user name or password was incorrect

i tried and changed my password but nothing happened!

i used my iphone and i was successfull on teh home sharing part with no problems

also..i couldnt sign in to the youtube part on teh apple tv with my username and password even though i could do that when im on my mac

any ideas?

sounds like your aTV can't connect to the network.

I had the same problem, since it can't talk to apple to verify the password, it says it's incorrect. It's poor wording in the error box.

the weird thing is that i can watch apple trailers and youtube vids but i cnat connect with my apple id or wto youtbe with my youtube account...
weird thing and still have no idea what to do about that..
