No "Restore" button on iTunes, need help

So I'm running iOS 5.0 unlocked/jailbroken by redsn0w. I called AT&T and had them unlock my phone. All I want to do is restore my iPhone so it'll be "legitimately" unlocked. (i dont care for it being jailbroken)

The problem is that the option to restore on my itunes isn't highlighted, and i cant click it. I also tried to upgrade to 5.1 through the iphone itself, but it errors out

please help! thanks

Put it in DFU mode and plug it into iTunes
Should trigger the restore pop up

I never heard of a no restore button in itunes.
Also when you're JB you cannot do an OTA update. It will give you an error.
