Text Editor for Mac and Windows...

Can someone suggest a text editor that I can use on my iPad and also sync in my Windows box?

New to this...

Do you use anything like Dropbox for your syncing? If so, look for an editor that supports the service you use.

e.g. Some Dropbox suggestions here: http://www.macstories.net/roundups/b...opbox-editors/

EDIT: I use Clean Writer http://www.cognitivebits.com/product...iter-ipad.html myself among others.

IAWriter & Textforce Apps and they both support Dropbox.

Thanks to you both.

An example of what I want to do is, when purchasing gasoline or other business expense items, I want to be able to record the date and amount while in the car. If they build up to several, it would be easier to enter the data at home on the Windows machine using a real keyboard.

As stated, I'm a newbie to the Mac world. Enjoying it thus far!

For quick notes you may be better off with an app that is designed for that.

Popular apps in that category are OneNote, Evernote, ...
