Will the video quality be lacking if...

Will the video quality be lacking if you were to use a Class 6 sd card in a Nikon D7000. According to the card 30 MB/s is the speed which doesn't make sense as it's only class 6.

If your camera is recording video faster then the write speed on the flash memory card, then yes, it will mess up the video.

A quick check seems to say you need at least a class 6 flash card with your camera. Check your camera manual for exactly what type of flash card you need.

A lot of cameras you can change the bit rate for the video settings, but thats not always an ideal situation.

Quality has zero to do with card speed. It will either record it or not record it.

And don't trust them read/write speeds that manufacturers publish too much. However, when SanDisk says their card is Class 6, you can bet the farm on that (if it not an ebay counterfeit)

It won't effect the quality, if the camera can not write the data to the card fast enough it will cause an error and possible loss of the clip.
