Apple has the capital to do whatever they want/need...

Apple has so much money, it's almost mind boggling.

I would like to see what apple could do if they didn't incrementally improve their devices for marketing purposes.

When the new iPad needed a seriously beefed up battery, they had it. What else is apple saving for a rainy day?

One of the reasons Apple has tons of money is because its not burning a hole in their pocket.

One person's 'incremental improvements' is another person's 'the most Apple could possibly do given technological constraints, material supply, and consumer demand and has nothing to do with "marketing purposes" bs'.

And what else would they do? Stupid gimmick garbage like carbon fiber or whatever, I suppose.

The reason they have so much money is because they make super-advanced technology at an excellent price and millions of people buy it; it's not because they're misers releasing last year's technology.
