Why does photoshop nedd so much proccessor power
it runs cool on my imac DV 400, 320 ram
effects fly on it
I'm no pro but why so much power
 
try running a filter like distort/crystalize or rotate canvas on a 80 meg file.

The more speed, the shorted the wait basically.
