iPod iPod Problem

I charge my mini for 5 hours and when i turn it on it only lasts for a few minutes, then i get the exclamation mark with the battery, and i can't use the iPod because of this. I'm guessing the battery is bad. But i can plug it into my computer and run my music off of it. If I bring it to the Apple store, what will they do. It is still under warantee.

If it is still under warranty, they will likely replace it on the spot.
