Calender problem

I have just started sending some of my appointments from Outlook at work via e-mail to the Calender on my IPhone. One particular appointment crashes the Calender app everytime I select it. I don't seem to be able to remove it.

This then led me to find another problem, I can't seem to edit or delete any of the appointments that I've imported. Does anyone have any information on how to solve either of these problems.
