Upgrading 24" iMac from hybrid drive to SSD to solve hum
I recently posted that I had upgraded my 24" iMac (early 2009) with a Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drive. However, I was left with some doubts especially due to the pertaining and annoying hum my iMac kept generating. I decided to change my setup once again, inspired by the comments of "All Taken" on my previous post.
Spoiler alert: I got rid of my oh so annoying hum... finally! Bliss!

@OllyW, I was not posting this for "self promotion". I just wanted to share my upgrade experience with the community. Do you want me to paste the whole blog post in a forum post here instead?
