Can iCal display a line across the calendar?

Hello. On my Mac and iPodTouch, I don't seem to be able to make a line drawing across several days to indicate that an event will last for several continuous days. Can it be done on the iPhone? Thanks.

An all-day event spanning more than one day? Those show up as "stripes" across the all-day (top) section in iCal and on the iPhone in landscape view.

"Week Calendar" for iPhone gives a few different views of the calendar.

Example1: Attending WWDC 2-12 from Jun2 11-15. I would like to have a strip from June 1-15.

Example2: Meeting with Dave from 13:30 to 15:00 on May 7 to 9. I would like to have a strip from May 7 to 9.

Can iCal do this?

1. Have you tried entering it in a new event in iCal like that?

2. You have a meeting with Dave on May 7, May 8, and May 9 from 13:30 to 15:00. That would be a recurring event. Enter the recurrences in the event.

If what you're asking is, "Can you draw a line or stripe in iCal across more than one day and then enter the event info?" The answer is no.
