This App gives you the access to more than 330 new Emojis. All iOS 5.1 devices can show these new Emojis. But these new emojis are not integrated in the standard Emoji keyboard, so you will need this App for that.

I just bought the Emoji 2 app, but when I go to settings I don't see it as a keyboard type to install. In the mean time I thought it might help to remove the old emoji keyboard, so now I have none. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi,

I'm the developer of this App.

Since iOS 5.1, there are hundreds of new Emojis available for iPhone and iPad. But these Emojis are not integrated by Apple inside the original Emoji keyboard yet.

Apple itself doesn't allow developers to integrate the new Emojis into the original Emoji keyboard.

So there are only two ways how the new Emojis can be used:
1) With the keyboard inside this App. There you can switch between the normal text keyboard and a keyboard with the new emojis.
2) With the "Japanese Romaji" keyboard (PRO version only).

I'm a big Emoji fan myself and I wish that there are other possibilities to integrate these new Emojis to the standard keyboard.
But I'm glad to have a possibility to use to use this new Emojis, because I often need some of the new Emojis for example the Smiley with the sunglasses.
If there are better ways for using these new Emojis in the future, then there will be a free update for this App.

Best Regards,
Robert

It wasn't free, it was .99 cents.

There is a FREE version and a PRO version of this App in the App Store.

The FREE version has some limitations, for example you don't get all new Emojis and you can't add them to the Keyboard.
If you want all new Emojis and and be able to add them into the keyboard, you will need the PRO version of this App.

Regards,
Robert
