Im using Snow Leopard and Firefox. Sometime and adobe box appears on my screen asking me to update flash player. As I read something about fake adobe update malware, I usually dont update.

So, how do I know if this padtes are genuine? How do I check my flash player version, and how to update it?

I don't think Flash was a preference pane in Snow Leopard.

In Safari, click Help>Installed plug-ins.

I stand corrected.
